Lafayette cleans up at DataFest

Congratulations to Lafayette’s Josh Arfin and Benjamin Draves for receiving an award for Best Data Preparation at the 2017 DataFest held at Wesleyan University.

DataFest is a competition held by a variety of colleges and sponsored by the ASA. In the competition, participants are given a large dataset and are challenged to find and tell an interesting story with the data. After 48 hours, teams present their findings to a group of judges and other individuals participating in the event.
