Why Lafayette?
I like to get students thinking and working actively on mathematics with one another in the classroom, and Lafayette seems to be an ideal environment for instructors and students to foster productive, supportive learning communities that enable this. I’m very excited to join! We also have a relatively large math department here compared to similar colleges, with lots of great recent hires, and I look forward to working with colleagues to give students exciting learning opportunities and to get them involved in mathematics research.
